Sad. Reasons an 8 mo old puppy would drop dead?

could be any number of things, even though the dog is deceased you can still take it to the vet and find what the problem was and if it was some sort of poisoning it can be prevented the next time they adopt a pup. But it sounds like to me it had a health problem or defect which can happen.
