In Deathly Hallows, why didnt Harry Ron and Hermione just go to like California or somewhere else in the US?

cos they were sick of American influences on Hollywood movies and the globalisation of the film industry, the subtle endorsement of American products and the McDonalds on every street corner. Also they were probably insane from all the magic and stuff.
