Tell me about a boxer/lab mix?

Labs and Boxers are both BIG, Powerful, Very friendly and require massive amounts of Large Scale play 1 or more hours of fetch with a ball launcher or Frisbee in an area large enough for them to run all out retrieving and a child's wading pool on hand filled with cool water for frequent drinks and cool downs! Excellent family "Protectors" they have fantastic instincts for growling at intruders into your home territory until you introduce them as friends - at which point the victim will be climbed on and licked into submission! Either as a breed or combined as a mix should make a great family pets as long as you have the ROOM for them to be BIG DOGS! Read this as having at least a 50' X 100' open - partial shade back yard with a strong continuous fence or open farm with plenty of elbow room between you and the nearest neighbor. Not a dog suitable for crowded city housing area or apartment. I am very serious about these animals NEED to Run Freely!
